“I want us to help each other with the faith we have. Your faith will help me,
and my faith will help you.”
Romans 1:12 (NCV)

Pastor, you don’t have to go through life’s ups and downs on your own. You’re a part of God’s family, just like the people you’re leading.

A building is one of the most important pictures of the church in the Bible. In a building, all the connected parts hold each other together.

They provide support.

In your role as a church leader, you likely see that regularly in your church body.

You’ll have times when you’ll need people to hold you together, too.

If you’re not a part of God’s family during those times, you’ll fall apart.

The Bible says of Christ, “In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit” (Ephesians 2:21-22 NIV).

Together, we form God’s temple, a building.

A disconnected frame has no support and no stability. You need this stability.

You weren’t meant to go through life disconnected.

A ministry position doesn’t inoculate you from pain in life.

The Bible says, “I want us to help each other with the faith we have. Your faith will help me, and my faith will help you” (Romans 1:12 NCV).

Why does this matter for you?

One of the most destructive forces in ministry today is loneliness. I talk to many pastors. Many of them feel alone and disconnected.

This year, in the middle of the global COVID-19 pandemic, it has been even worse.

Pastor, you need the church, too!

You need people who will love and support you no matter what you’re going through.

We hope you have a group of people in your life in which you can be open and honest through the ups and downs of life and ministry.
